Services
Floating Covers
RTD installs floating covers for drinking water reservoirs, irrigation ponds, and deicing lagoons. Floating covers keep contaminants from entering the liquid, and stop evaporation.

Decorative Ponds
Decorative ponds reflect the beautiful surrounding images as well as provide an attractive and tempting area to waterfowl and wildlife. RTD has installed decorative ponds at golf courses, condominium complexes, shopping centers and recreational areas.

Wastewater Lagoons
RTD installs lagoon liners for both waste water and clean water. These liners allow the waste to be treated while keeping contaminants from leaching into clean water supplies. Lagoon liners also keep clean water contained so it can be utilized and not lost into the ground.
Landfill Cells/ Landfill Caps
RTD installs liners in new landfills to contain trash and the leachate made from trash. This allows the landfill to collect lechate and treat it. RTD also installs landfill caps which cover a landfill that has reached its capacity and stop rainwater from creating lechate as well as allow the landfill to control rainwater as clean water. Landfill covers contain the gas that is created from decomposing trash allowing the gas to be converted to energy.

Temporary Landfill Caps
Temporary landfill covers are used when a landfill has reached its capacity, but may not yet be ready for the final cap. In this case, RTD installs a temporary cover which controls odor and rainwater, and allows for utilization of the gas as energy without the added costs of final caps. Temporary caps also allow for the use of air space that becomes available after several years of decomposition.
